The eight-story Embassy was built in 1926 as a luxury apartment building. Designed by Preston Bradshaw, the architect who also designed the Mayfair Hotel and the Chase Park Plaza, the building reflects the special ambiance and flavor of a bygone era. The Embassy brings together style, classic architecture, contemporary conveniences and a central location. The Embassy is a harmonious mix of stately elegance and contemporary flair. One step inside the doorway transports you back in time- the magnificent lobby with its ornate friezes, bas-relief garlands, and terrazzo floors has been restored to the grandeur of original beauty. In the walnut concierge station, a member of our dedicated staff is there to welcome you to the charm of another place and time, with the luxury of here and now. The newly-refurbished fitness center is adjacent to the lobby. Outside, next to the courtyard, there is a swimming pool sparkling with an invitation to summertime relaxation, featuring a deck for sun tanning and barbecues. These apartments are furnished with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and disposal. We have laundry facilities on each floor. The off-street gated parking is included; garage is available for $30/month. The Resident pays for electric, phone, and cable. The Embassy pays for hot water, sewer, and trash. We are located four blocks north of Forest Park and two blocks from Wash U bus line.
