Condo Make Overs - The Kitchen
Whether you are trying to sell your Condo in Seattle or California there are some universal staging techniques that apply to all Condo owners.
The biggest selling point for a condo is the kitchen and use of space. If you were to stage your kitchen and existing space that it focus buyers' attention in the right place, you have more chances of selling or even renting your condo.
You dont want the buyers to get sidetracked by furniture, décor or art pieces that you love! So, here are a few staging tips collected from a randon survey completed by owners of Chicago Condos, Seattle Condos as well as California Condos.
The first thing we found was that it all happens in one room – the KITCHEN!!
Kitchen is where a couple or a family spends most of their time in a day so naturally it should be very comfortable so it needs a suitable ambience and perfect staging. Kitchen is the heart of a home whether it is a single detached home or a condo.
Granite, quartz or natural stone counter tops will attract potential buyers or renters like a bee to honey. However, remember to keep the counter tops clean and without any clutter. Invest in a over the top microwave range and hide the coffee maker, toaster or juicer when a potential buyer is coming over.
To make best use of available space in your condo kitchen , hang up your essential utensils and ladles. It looks great and is a great use of space. Another tip is fixing hidden lights in the cupboards.
Please make sure there are no odors -good, bad or ugly coming out of your kitchen when a potential buyer is visiting. Whether you have high end stainless steel appliances, or simple functional ones, make sure they are clean and shining.
Remove any personal items from the refrigerator like stick ons, pictures or calender. Be prepared to clean and rearrange items in cabinets, drawers in your condos' kitchen. Prospective buyers can check anything !!
Last but not the least make sure your kitchen is well well-lighted, clean and inviting!
