San Diego Condos

San Diego is the second largest city in California, and eight largest in the country. It shares a border with Mexico and is home to miles of beaches, a first class world renowned zoo, and many military complexes. Tourism, biosciences, ship repair and construction, and electronics manufacturing all help drive San Diego's economy.  San Diego condos have slowed in the sales pace but are expected to pick back up soon with the high desire to live here.

With so many employment opportunities condos in San Diego are a great buy. There are lots to see and do right in the city and a San Diego condo will put you within a short drive to all kinds of attractions that will appeal to your whole family. The city of San Diego has many popular museums such as the San Diego Museum of Art, the San Diego Natural history museum, and the San Diego Aircraft Museum. Of course the one attraction that San Diego is most known for, world over, is the San Diego Zoo. This one hundred acre zoo is one of the premier facilities in the entire world, with over four thousand animals. The San Diego Zoo also opened and runs a Wild Animal Park. The zoo has had amazing success in breeding and reintroducing endangered animals. Because of the notability of its zoos many other animal related attractions have sprung up around these centers including a SeaWorld.

The city is majority Caucasian, though it has a strong Hispanic population, and it appeals to families. Nearly half the population is married, most with children. All crimes, violent or otherwise, are well below the national averages in San Diego- pretty impressive considering its size. This is a safe friendly city with great schools and affordable San Diego condos and houses. San Diego is also a hotspot for sports lovers. Its surfing is ranked as some of the best in the world. The city has several sports venues and recently opened Petco Park, a $450 million dollar open air stadium.
