Longtime local developer Steve Aizenberg, founder of Spinnaker Homes, is building a luxurious $200 million mid-rise project near the Las Vegas Beltway and Durango Drive in the northwest valley. Echelon at Centennial Hills calls for six four-story condo buildings with 15 residence floorplans from 1,064 square feet to more than 4,000 square feet in size.
The stylishly sleek interiors feature two-sided fireplaces, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and roomy outdoor terraces. [Shell out for a four-bedroom adobe, up to $1.5 million, and the terrace alone will span more than 1,000 square feet.] Impressing friends will be a breeze for Echelon homeowners, thanks to the private gardens, pools and pavilions designed for entertaining.
There are also custom computer alcoves that create Manhattan-deserving, space-saving work stations, as well as secure underground parking with private storage areas. Plans call for a two-level clubhouse with state-of-the-art fitness venter, conference room and business center. Designed by Studio 111 – a division of Long Beach-based Perkowitz + Ruth Architects – the modernist buildings have a clean geometric design bathed in a calming palette of desert hues. Shoppers beware: The 15-acre gated community is walking distance from the future Great Mall of Las Vegas.
