The community of six buildings, each 42 feet high, will house five condo units each.

The condominiums will be called The Heights of Manchester, according to Nicholas Laswell, a developer on the project.

The units will offer broadviews of the Cambridge Golf Course at the village and surrounding countryside, he said..

Cambridge Village currently includes some single-level condominiums.

The Heights of Manchester will be the village's first mult-level condominiums.

Laswell and other partners in Evansville-based Manchester Townhome Development, LLC, recently purchased around three acres of land for the condominiums from Elite Development Group, which owns Cambridge Village.

Elite comprises members of Blankenberger Bros. Inc. and Wright Family Investment Group.
