Profile: Luma is the first American-developed full-ownership active adult beachfront community in Mexico. It is located on Mexico's Pacific Coast in Nuevo Vallarta, 15 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta Airport.

Location: Luma is located on the beach at Paradise Village, a 440-acre resort community in Nuevo Vallarta, just north of Puerto Vallarta.

Getting There:Fifteen minutes from Luma, Puerto Vallarta Airport offers regularly scheduled service to and from numerous U.S. gateway cities.

Residence Types: Built to high-quality construction standards, Luma condominiums will be generously sized and range from one to three bedrooms plus den. Penthouse units will boast private pools and palapas.

Residence Features: Each spacious condominium will feature 11- to 13-foot-high ceilings, glass walls and large terraces with sweeping ocean and mountain views. Designer kitchens will be finished with high-end appliances, undermount sinks, granite countertops and tile floors. Other appointments include large closets, dressing areas, storage, and a laundry room.

Pricing: First phase Luma homes range from the $500,000s for a 1,800 square foot one bedroom plus den and go up to $2 million for the 6,227 square foot penthouses (all prices are subject to change without notice).

The Luma Experience: Luma represents a new standard for active adult living. An innovative feature of the Luma concept blends the advantages of an active adult community with personal lifestyle services. Each resident has access to a Lifestyle Concierge who will facilitate the Vallarta lifestyle based on each individual's desire and preference. Arrangements such as airport transfers, restaurant reservations, maintenance, and housekeeping, as well as adventure travel, personal chef and 24-hour live-in services can be facilitated (additional costs apply). Through this program, Luma becomes a community experience designed by residents.

The Luma experience will go beyond social and educational opportunities to encompass mind, body, spiritual and vocational wellness.

Community Features:Luma's beachfront common spaces will include a beach bar and bistro, ocean view fitness center, massage, Pilates and yoga center, saltwater infinity pools, sports/game room, library, large meeting room, and panoramic Pacific Ocean view terrace. A private marina will be available at a later phase.

Local artwork will grace Luma's common spaces and complement the property's magnificent Pacific setting. Emphasis will be placed on preserving the plant and animal life native to Nuevo Vallarta. Residents will have the opportunity to join a nearby sea turtle preservation and protection effort at the site of a historic nesting area.

Luma's location within the Paradise Village resort area, an established English-speaking enclave with restaurants, hotels, marina, sports and spa facilities, will give residents easy access to championship golf, boating and fishing as well as shopping. The Paradise Village shopping mall features 100 stores ranging from supermarkets to artisan boutiques and is within walking distance from Luma.

Health Care:Luma residents will have access to quality medical care from an English-speaking physician and nurse at the on-site, private clinic. Yearly exams, basic medicine and referrals to local specialist will be offered. Luma will also have preferred relationships with local U.S.-quality health care providers available at the Nuevo Vallarta Medical Center in Paradise Village and at AmeriMed Vallarta Hospital in Puerto Vallarta.

Developer: Luma is being developed by DCHV (Desarrollos Comerciales y Habitacionales Vallarta, S. de R.L. de C.V.), a partnership between U.S.-based Front Porch Active Adult Communities and Mexico-based Grupo Krone.
