Tampa Condos
Tampa is a beautiful tropical city along the edge of the Tampa Bay. In the late 1980's the city annexed twenty four miles of rural land creating an area known as 'new Tampa'. Businesses, Tampa condo developers, and other subdivisions quickly snatched up land and the growth of Tampa hasn't slowed down since. Tourism, finance, insurance, and real estate all play vital roles in Tampa's economy. The current Tampa mayor has revitalized the downtown and created residential pockets in the midst of its busiest business districts. Many newly built, ultra modern luxurious mixed use high rises with Tampa condos have sprung up as a result. The downtown area of Tampa has quickly turned from a 9 to 5 business district to a twenty four hour a day hotspot. Tampa is a chic urban environment just right for young professionals and metropolitan families.
Tampa condos are part of the massive new development projects in the area. Part of Tampa's revitalization is the development of Tampa Riverwalk, a city park with many walking and cycling trails along the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa. Along with the Riverwalk many new museums are being built. When these are finished they will be the new homes of the Tampa Bay History Center, the Tampa Children's Museum, and Tampa's Museum of Art. Tampa already has a thriving nightlife scene and its high end shopping near the International Plaza and Hyde Park Village. Tampa is home to many annual events such as the Gasparilla Pirate Festival, the Outback Bowl, and the Florida State Fair.
You will also find many sporting events near your Tampa condo. The city is home to many professional sporting teams, not to mention many college teams that draw as many visitors as the professional league teams do! Tampa hosts spring training for a number of Major League Baseball teams and several minor league teams. The teams that do their spring training in Florida are sometimes referred to as the 'Grapefruit League'.
