Where can you begin the search for that place to call home, especially with developments popping up all over the San Diego landscape? NewCondosOnline.com comes to the rescue with its comprehensive Web site that lets consumers keep their sanity as they shuffle through about 700 properties all over the nation. Launched in June 2005 by University of San Diego post-grads Brandon Fishman and Brent Gleeson, NewCondosOnline.com is nothing short of a home buyer's dream come true.

Researching condos, townhouses and lofts can seem less exciting and more of a chore because of the various properties springing up everywhere. You can think of NewCondosOnline.com as a portal, where you get to scroll through hundreds of developments locally, nationally and soon to be internationally to find the perfect place to suit your tastes.

NewCondosOnline.com is an online advertising resource for builders and developers, and a research portal for potential buyers. "The National Association of Realtors says that about 77 percent of consumers start on the Internet," Fishman says. "We wanted to create an affordable marketing tool to builders to create national and local exposure." Gleeson adds, "And since many San Diegans are now choosing to invest in condos, lofts and townhomes, we wanted to focus on that niche."

In addition to being a major resource for consumers, builders and developers, NewCondosOnline.com gives back to the community. "We [also] believe in social responsibility and give to two charitable causes. A portion of our annual profits goes to the Naval Special Warfare Foundation that supports the families of fallen special operations soldiers, and to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation," says Gleeson.

The concept of New Condos Online Inc. and its Web site started when Gleeson and Fishman met during USD's master's degree program for real estate. "I met Brandon [Fishman] at school and met many real estate developers and people building condos and condo conversions in San Diego. With construction cost increasing for them, businesses began cutting money out of their marketing, and not only did we want to create an affordable way to advertise for builders, but an easy way for consumers to research these developments," says Gleeson. Once you find your perfect property on New Condos Online, it directs you straight to the builder's sales team for fast and easy service.

Both Fishman and Gleeson were two of the first 20 graduates to finish the first Master of Science in Real Estate program at USD and graduated at the top of their class. Fishman first started out as a business analyst. "I graduated from Emory University then went on to Deloitte Consulting and worked on consulting projects for companies like Coca-Cola and Home Depot. I was always interested in real estate and finally decided to go to USD," says Fishman. Gleeson also had his eye on real estate for some time. "I graduated from Southern Methodist University in Texas and worked for years in real estate as a financial analyst. I then joined the U.S. Navy to become a Navy SEAL and was involved in more than 100 successful missions. I wanted to get back into real estate and thought the USD program was a good transition. I then met Brandon and we started the concept [of New Condos Online Inc.]," Gleeson says.

In less than one year, New Condos Online went from featuring approximately 30 properties on its Web site to approximately 700 currently. "In San Diego County alone, we have properties everywhere from Imperial Beach all the way up to Oceanside. We have over 100 projects here, and about 150 projects in California," says Gleeson. Contracted with the Downtown Residential Marketing Alliance in San Diego,

New Condos Online can even assist customers with which luxury high-rise to choose from. "We're in about 50 major markets across the country," Fishman says. New York City, Orange County, Las Vegas, Miami, Austin, San Francisco and Los Angeles are just some examples of metropolitan markets that NewCondosOnline.com features.
