Condos In Hudson Heights New York
Hudson Heights which is based in the borough of Manhattan, and falls within the larger area of Washington heights, on the north there is Fort Tryon park, to the west there is The Hudson River, and bounded on the south we have J Hood Wright Park, and on the east of course Broadway.Mainly residential areas there are a few shops, restaurants, and the first Starbucks in Manhattan north of Harlem. This is one of the areas that has been developing New York condos.
Hudson Heights is the highest natural point in Manhattan; it stands 265 feet above sea level. A lot of the commercial side is based along 187th street. Near 181st street you can find the Chinese, Indian and all the rest of the Ethnic restaurants, whilst in the Northern end we have a large grocery store, a pet shop and a splattering of a few more small shops. It does not have much in the way of night life so be prepared to ride the subway. Hudson Heights that goes from 181st to 193rd roughly was originally called this to distinguish it from the rest of Washington Heights.
Some of the prime locations for New York Condos are Hudson View Gardens on West 183rd these are Tudor style design, located in front of the community park which is a block long. Or how about the beautiful sunken living rooms that the Castle Village has to offer it’s residents sitting on top of the lush grass and tree area that is Cabrini Boulevard.
Also schools are well catered for with P.S 187 going from Kindergarten through to eighth grade and are highly respected in the area or The George Washington High School, which has unfortunately fell below highly desirable over recent times due to the economy causing a poor faculty, and high drop out rate. However this being said young families, and older ones are well catered for, in the very desirable area that is Hudson Heights.
