Portland is located on both the Willamette and Columbia Rivers. It is the third largest city in the Pacific Northwest and the twenty third largest in the United States Portland is broken up into five different zones or neighborhoods and each has its own atmosphere and appeal. Portland's southwest area is its downtown and it is here that you will find the many attractions that bring tourists from all over the country to visit Portland.
