Condos in Phoenix

Moving to Phoenix? Let NewCondosOnline.com help you find the condo of your dreams.

The City of Phoenix is the fifth largest city in America with an estimated population of 1.3 million. Greater Phoenix enjoys more than 325 days of sunshine annually.

There are many reasons to relocate to Phoenix. The golf courses of Phoenix are highly rated and it ranks as one of the world's top five golf destinations. Other attractions include museums, galleries, performing arts, fine dining, horse riding and cowboy shoot-outs. Phoenix also serves as a springboard for day-trips to other major Arizona magnets like the Grand Canyon and Sedon.

Among the Valley's advantages are flat terrain simple transportation routes and a light rail system that's under construction. Not only is the transportation system evolving but housing communities also continue to be developed across the Valley, offering comfortable homes for new and longtime residents.

More than 30,500 homes sales were recorded for the third quarter of 2005 alone and almost 51,000 single-family housing units were authorized in 2004, according to the ASU Real Estate Center. Condos in Phoenix constitute a large percentage of the housing units sold.

The home buying environment is highly favorable with low interest rates and a wide selection of housing types. Buying into condo is increasingly gaining popularity here. The cost of a condo in Phoenix ranges between $ 1,50,000 and $ 3,00,0000. Popular neighborhoods include Paradise valley, Tempe and Copper Square.

Biltmore District

The Biltmore District, also known as the Camelback Corridor, centers on Camelback Road between 24th and 44th streets and is Phoenix's upscale shopping, residential and business district. The area is characterized by modern office buildings and is anchored by the Arizona Biltmore Hotel and Biltmore Fashion Park shopping mall.

Paradise Valley

If Scottsdale is Phoenix's Beverly Hills, then Paradise Valley is its Bel-Air. The most exclusive community in the Valley is almost entirely residential, but you won't see too many of the more lavish homes because they're set on large tracts of land.

Tempe

Tempe is the home of Arizona State University and has lots of nightclubs and bars as well as all the other trappings of a university town.
