Condos for Seattleites
Seattle condos are all the hype since Paul Allen's announcement of the development of 60 acres of land in South Lake Union. Some speculate that these Seattle condos will be the next Bell town, or possibly something even bigger. The Seattle condo market is quickly growing with new condos going up like the gateway project, 2200 Westlake, Pan Pacific Hotel and Condominium. All of the new condos are creating a stir since about 95 percent of new condos being opened sell within the first month of opening to the public. Most of the excitement of the South Lake Union Seattle condos is that some home buyers can't wait to see what is in store for this neighborhood. Anyone interested in checking out the new Seattle condos can stop in the impressive sales office of these new condos.
There are sales representatives there to greet any guests and usher into a mini theater to watch a 5-minute presentation on plans for future plans and new condos coming up. The video is well informative and gives a very good idea of Paul Allen's future plans for Seattle Condos. Some of the latest projects for new condos include Enso, The Martin, Veer Loft, and Rollin St. Enso are 450,000 sq.ft. condominiums that are partly businesses with floors 6-18 being residential condos.
These new condos have high performance “green” buildings that will allow more natural daylight than traditional buildings. In addition, these condos will feature energy and water saving fixtures by using environment sensitive building materials. The condos will also have a garden terrace, exercise facility and an entry atrium. Veer Loft is a new condos project that targets first time home buyers. There are 94 homes with a mix of mezzanine and full height lofts. Veer Loft takes after the Manhattan Loft style because of the exposed beam ceiling, concrete floors, and open layout. The Martin is located behind the Cinerama.
There are 24 stories and will have 170 condominiums and 4,000 sq.ft. of retail space. The condos feature open and efficient floor plans with gas fireplaces and expansive windows. The new condos also have multi-level deck terraces with outdoor kitchens, grilling areas and outdoor fireplaces. These Seattle condos are ideal for young yuppies working downtown. Rollin St is going to have 11 stories and 208 loft type condos. The new condos will be located at the Northeast corner of Westlake Ave North and Denny Way. The eco-friendly condos will start construction in fall 2006. Rollin St. condominiums will include features like high ceilings and large open spaces that can be sectioned off with room dividers. There are walls of floor-to-ceiling windows, gourmet kitchens, hardwood floors, roomy decks and fireplaces.
