Pros and Cons of the Lifestyle of Seattle Condos

Potential buyers may be wondering if Seattle condos will be a good choice for them, but by looking at a simple list of pros and cons it should be fairly simple to decide. There are many people who are well suited for many of the Seattle new condos on the market, but other people may be better suited for other residence options.

The advantages of Seattle condos are plentiful. First of all, owners will not be responsible for exterior maintenance or repairs. Many condominium communities also offer amenities such as indoor pools, gymnasiums, play areas and tennis courts that people would otherwise not be able to afford. Most Seattle new condos are also in locations convenient to centers of employment and shopping. And, of course, a condominium is usually more reasonably priced than other forms of housing.

As with anything in life, though, Seattle condos have some disadvantages that buyers should weigh against the advantages. There will be monthly homeowners' association fees that owners must pay every month, for starters. They may also have less privacy compared to single family homes or townhouses. Condominium owners also only own the interior of the unit from the walls inward, but they jointly own the rest of the building with other homeowners.

For many people, though, the Seattle new condos on the market are offering just the right lifestyle for their situation. Those who don't like dealing with exterior maintenance and repairs, want the added amenities and enjoy the safety and community-feel of numerous and nearby neighbors will probably like living in Seattle condos.
